The challenge? To bring the magic of Johnnie Walker’s Princes Street visitor experience in Edinburgh to a global audience.

With the pandemic limiting travel, we needed to create something extraordinary—a high-definition, interactive platform that blended the best of gaming with human connection.

Using Unreal Engine, we crafted a digital version of Princes Street where guests could explore, interact, and discover hidden surprises. From in-game storytelling to chatboxes with multilingual ambassadors, every detail was designed to make the experience unique and personal. To top it off, we shipped exclusive tasting packs to online attendees for a mixology session, connecting whisky lovers around the world from the comfort of their homes.

The result? A global audience from 136 countries joined the experience, smashing targets:

  • 43% above retail sales goals

  • 173% higher tour attendance than predicted

  • Over 3,300 tickets booked and 2,000 chats across regions
